History of YKT Group
| 1924.3 | Keizo Yamamoto started business at a shop in Tsukiji, Tokyo. |
| 1934.2 | It was converted to a joint-stock corporation. |
| 1941.9 | The company was renamed Yamamoto Kogyo Co., Ltd. Because imports were halted at the start of World War II, a factory was established in Koganei for the production of precise tools. Osaka and Nagoya Offices were established. |
| 1949.2 | Yamamoto & Co., Ltd. spun off from Yamamoto Kogyo Co., Ltd. was reestablished for import business on machine tools. |
